VERY RUDE AND ABRUPT TRYING TO SELL INSURANCE POLICIES AND WHEN YOU SAY NOT INTERESTED GET VERY ABRUPT AND HANG UP ON YOU. BLOCKED NUMBER AND IF IT RINGS IGNORE IT.
I’ve just been called from this number claiming to be my credit card fraud check. It mentions two extremely high transactions, not made by me, then to press 1 to authorise or 2 to talk to customer service. I didn’t, I hung up, checked all my cards. No transaction has been attempted. This is a scam call.

Apparently, a recent survey has revealed that the insulation in our loft is illegal, and if we do not replace it, we will be fined by the Government. When asked how thesurvey was completed. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.
