Also, you know it's a genuine bureaucratic banking process when they ask for 10 different details to confirm your identity. I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.
