Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. They were very nice at 1st & careful to explain how they wanted my bank details, (not a debit/credit card) & that that is safe, (I discovered that it's true), but they were very, very, insistent, determined & wouldn't take no for an answer! Very rude. Very bad. Wouldn’t tell me who was calling. Just wanted me to confirm my name with a yes or no. When I would not say yes or no and just kept asking who was calling, she said well you can piss off! and put the phone down on me. Don’t ever say yes or no on the phone - they record it and use it as approval for trying to get into accounts etc.
The usual Indian scammers trying the "discount on your bill" ploy. Avoid, or tell them where to go.
Suspicious call from this number - they said that my amazon needs confirmation of the last order for the amount around £70. To confirm - press 1, to cancel - press 2. I think is fraud.

01134780179 called 31 Mar 23 at 17:58 hrs. Female caller advised that some loft insulation has now been classified as dangerous and I qualify for a free survey of my loft.. Advised call that my loft is fully insulated and boarded. Caller said we'll call that closed then. Could that be the caller from 01134780149 at 17:26 hrs earlier same day, and, from 01134780181 at 17:43 same day but didn't leave a message?

Call center SCAM Calling from O2 apparently, to give compensation for the bad signal quality. I agreed up until they said they would pass me onto their supervisor to get the compensation in progress. Call was from abroad. Not sure if this is a scam or not.

This number called my mobile then disconnected after 2 rings. I called it back and an automated voice in an irritating American accent said "Hi. Thanks for calling. Please hold while we connect you". After hearing this for 5 times in quick succession, I hung up and blocked the number. I'm guessing a spam or scam caller.

This was from a rude and abusive man with very poor English who claimed he was from carphone warehouse and when I said I wasn't interested he said he was also a police officer and was going to find out where I lived and beat me up, he was screaming abuse at me. This was entirely unprovoked as I am a very polite pensioner who never shouts and swears, I would recommend everyone to do as I have done and block this number.

I am suspicious of this number because after receiving a possible ?phishing call I made a 1471 call to discover the number the call came from I was given this number, which I rang. It was answered by a man who told me he was in Kent and i told him why I had called his number but nothing else(my name or location) i suggested he should look into how this could have happened and that his line might be compromised somehow.

SCAM I've also received a dodgy looking CTSI letter from an Oscar Reed. I called the genuine CTSI number from their website and they didn't recognise this number as one of their own.
