Recorded message saying they were from fraud dept for my card. With 2 suspicious transactions attempted that morning. One to Amazon for £300 and one for over £1000. Press 1 to cancel transactions or speak to an advisor or press 2 for ? Call ended before she finished speaking.
They continually pester me even two or three times a day. I asked not to be called anymore, despite the fact that those fucking bastards constantly change numbers and also call from other countries.
Claiming to be from Amazon. Don’t answer.

Had a call this morning claiming to be from virgin media. I d of my think so as I had 6 calls yesterday from different numbers claiming to be from virgin.
SPAM Call to my landline @ 10.04 am. Recorded message saying they were calling about a potentially fraudulent £600 charge on my debit card abroad. No mention of bank. Was asked to press 1 to confirm the charge or 2 to speak to an advisor. Hung up.

Pretending to be post office re missed delivery with a link to click. Don t believe post office send texts from mobile numbers at 18.35 on Saturday evenings.

Caller said he was local energy advisor. When asked who he worked for he said " I have the information I require "and rang off.
SCAM Virgin Technical dept allegedly...yeah right...."How are you? he says. I say sorry but who are you and why are you calling me and then I can only guess was a tirade in an Asian language(?) but ending with 'f*** off' . Maybe I have had a call from him before :)

Spam? 0800 numbers are usually freephone and used for incoming calls rather than outgoing ones from the caller so this is likely to be dodgy, particularly as it appears to be unidentifiable

This is a private number but seems to be being used to gain bank details from vulnerable people. We have been called by people finding this number on their phone when we don't call anyone on this number.

Fraud Text from this number claiming to be from Evri and that they had failed to deliver a parcel this morning because "since nobody was home". Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based.
