He tries to arrange an energy assessment on my house (which no doubt will result in a sales pitch for loft insulation etc). He's very polite and inoffensive, but I wish he would remove me from his database.

I am a few days late with a payment to Very so the credit company (shop direct) repeatedly phone my home and mobile. They still ring even though I ve explained the situation and paid half the monthly amount and have agreed to pay the other half in a weeks time. I just don t answer the phone now.

Rang this morning and warned me that one of our computers was generating spam emails in my name. Mike Reed gave me a 32 digit number which he claimed was a Microsoft licence number for all our computers on our network. As I know that each computer has its own licences number I told him I would check this my self and call him back. He gave me this number which I am now checking. Called at 12.30 today. Greeted with total silence.

My father keeps getting calls from this number on his mobile in South Africa. He is a cancer patient and in hospital... it has been going on for more than a year, they just keep calling. It distresses him very much. He only has the phone to call my mum when he needs her to bring something to hospital.

Voicemail message on an email from a Christina King. Don t know a Christina King so did not click on link attached to email!

Calls about 3 times a day and has now just called my house phone, have blocked this number!

They called my mobile and left a message for me to phone with meter readings (even though I sumitted them on-line in last 30 days). They get paid for each reading, without them collecting it. So my energy provider has increased costs(passed onto the customer) to receive something they already have. I ll save costs for me and my provider by submitting on-line.

Missed call from this number - when I rang back it was a recorded message saying "This number is for sale for information call 070 4000 1000"

PPI CALL IGNORE AND BLOCK - WASTE OF TIME CALL

Received a call from this number, answered but no-one spoke. Decided to stay on the line to see what happened. Complete silence for about 30 seconds then the line went dead. When I 1471 d I got the number 0161 918 0023. On calling the number, I am informed that "This number is temporarily out of order"! Can someone please explain to me the legality of this? The number is obviously NOT out of order when they call me but it is when I call them? Of course it s a scam and, as usual, there seems to be no recours

I am abroad and had a miss call from this number. As I did not recognize it, I did not return the call. But I started worrying when I saw other 4 missed calls from the same number. Thanks to your reports I saved a roaming call. I HAD a contract with Vodafone, more than a year ago!
