I had already blocked this number as a "cold caller" on my iPhone but these people are breaking the UK law by circumventing my block action and forcing my phone to ring. Received a call from this number, 07723 544321, just after 17:00 today. The call went dead after I said hello, obviously a scam of some sort.
SCAM Summary of what left on voicemail: Threatens your NI number has suspicious activity, will be suspend, police will be involve, press 1 to talk to us. So obviously a scam.

Called me today, left a message, a foreign accent that could?ve been computer generated. James Anderson from HMRC said if I don?t call back they will take matters further! I don?t have any issues with HMRC, I don?t pay tax due to working part time and don?t claim benefits so know this is not a genuine call!! Don?t be fooled! The number comes up as Glasgow!
TAXES / HMRC Automated call stating that it was HMRC and I was going to be investigated for tax fraud and the police were on their way with a warrant.
Man said he was "James from life insurance review". I hung up.

Right. Had quite an issue with this one. Picked up first time and it hung up. Second time I picked up it was an indian sounding bloke who said he will rape me if I dont accept his phone contract (?????)
