SCAM weird silent caller, breathing but not talking, call centre sounds in background, I waited a while and then said 'are you a pervert' ithey instantly hung up, are they fishing for real numbers people will answer and then using the numbers as calling lists for follow up scams or marketing?
SCAM An person, speaking bad English trying to convince me that there is a problem with my Windows computer and claiming to be from Microsoft. I did not hold the line long enough to figure out what they want me to do, ended with identifying the Windows computer by the presence of Windows key on the keyboard :-)

they have phoned a few times and when I redial it is not reconised
SCAM - automated call claiming that 'Due to unauthorised use, your internet will be disconnected' and to hold on the line to speak to a call handler. Caller with Indian accent claimed to be from 'Cyber Security Dept' that deals with security issues for all the service providers including BT. Starts by asking me if I have given my password to anyone and what devices I currently have connected. After giving her some bogus answers, I put her on hold and disconnected the call after 5mins. Definitely SCAM!
Caller said I had a refund due from Sky as I had been overcharged- I have never been a Sky customer!

Spoken English with strong foreign accent.....said something very garbled and fast followed by OK Repeated, when I told him I had not been able to understand what he was saying. Same thing happened on 2nd time of not understanding.....but this time he hung up. Suspect not BT at all.
had cold call from this number trying to frighten me with need to have an alarm system due to statistics of burglaries in my area and risk of fire. Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. He wasn t for backing down and was aggressive I told him to phone me back as i was at work and didn t have any info to hand. I will NOT answ
