Missed calls Rang on two consecutive days. Missed calls both times. Surely any reputable company would leave a message? Especially a mobile phone company? Everyone knows about phone scams which are getting to record levels. If a company cold calls to sell you something, they have to check the Telephone Preference Service first. Therefore as they’ve ignored TPS and not left an explanatory message on two occasions, I’ve blocked the number assuming this is a scam, spoofing Vodafone.

SCAM I received an automated call from this number on my house phone, claiming to be informing me of an irregular payment on my credit card for the amount of £1,100 and also suspect activity on Amazon. Insurance Called from Direct Insurance about my kitchen appliances claiming that as I hadn't made a claim in over a year they could offer me a substantial discount on my renewal fee. The thing is, although I haven't claimed I am NOT insured with this company. I've now had three or four calls and each time I've asked them politely to remove my details from their database but they still keep calling! I told them today I would report them to you.

A woman claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse asked for my phone company. She refused to answer the question of whether or not the process would cost money, so it's a potential scam. An annoying call for sure, as she kept on asking for my phone company.
SCAM - Missed the call and dialled back. Automated message confirms company name as Equifirst. Further investigation seems to suggest it is a scam online investment racket. There is a legitimate company with the same name selling horse feed, but they are not located in the UK nor have an 020 number. Avoid!

This is a scam they are driveway company based in Bodwin in Cornwall and are persistent with endless calls so beware.
I had a phone call from 02922229992 clalming to be Eon, who asked if I wanted a 'Smart meter', they wanted my account details.... RED FLAG!!!!!
