These morons called my work number with an automated message telling me to call them back. The number they called is for an organisation with thousands of employees and the number they called is not for any individual. Caller claimed to be from CAB. Asked if I was OK and hung up when I said yes I was.

introduced himself as from TPS, Telephone protection service and then some scam about attaching a box to line to stop nuisance calls which they would charge 50p a week for for 3 years.Awful that they are masquerading as Telephone Preference Service. Why have the police not stopped this obvious fraud, vulnerable and elderly will definitely be taken in by someone saying they are from TPS,i was convinced at first?

Picked up incoming call and voice message said it was from my bank and press 1 to stop payment of £600 being issued to foreign account. I didn't select 1 and the call just ended. It was not my bank and no money had been sent. Clear scam!
