As with the previous review, received a text supposed to be from Apple telling me my wallet features have been put on hold, due to an unusual transaction, and to visit the link in the text message. Needless to say I have not got an Apple wallet and did not click the link. I assume it's a scam.

Telephone fraud

Telemarketing SCAM Claimed to be from the Solar Advice Centre based in Dorset. A Leeds number and a dissolved company in Bolton. I don't think so

Scam. Definitely. So-called call from "security department". I asked 'security department' of what? The woman (Asian voice - lots of background "office" noise) repeated, 'This is the Security Department!' to which I repeated "Of what?!" She hung up. Point made. Case closed. Catch the bastards!

Had 3 calls recently with the same recording from different numbers. They say they are from my bank, but don't say which one, big red flag. They say l have 2 unusual transactions, including from Amazon. No activity on accounts, obvious scam.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. I refused and challenged them; caller eventually put me onto their "supervisor" and he asked me if I understood the nature of this call from Microsoft today but I told him that I didn't believe he was and he said "OK then f**k off" and I replied "Likewise" and hung up. SCAM Guy from tinder without verified photos. Pushed to move on to WhatsApp, then pushed to call, then pushed to Skype. Pushed to know my pictures were recent. Wouldn’t use any other kind of communication. Gave him my socials contacts and he called me controlling and a prick for not opening up a Skype account. Didn’t like it if I didn’t message back within 60 seconds! Not sure what was going on but felt very dodgy. I have blocked it. WhatsApp was also a business account.

SCAM - this is actually my number and apparently it's being spoofed. I don't live in the UK at the moment but maintain it for when i travel to the uk and for family. Block this number if you don't know me.

This number has been billed to my sky account three times totaling a charge of £53.52 this number originates in Vietnam i have never called it and today preparing to do battle with sky mobile over it BEWARE!!!

CRYPTO SCAM, DON'T TRUST ABOUT WHAT THEY SAY!

Fraud SCAM Unsolicited call, claiming to be Worldpay and asking what kind of card reader I use in my business. I informed him that I already use Worldpay as my payment processor and if he was who he said he was, then he maybe should know that.

Caller from this number stated that hmrc were giving back tax paid on ppi claims. I was due over £6000! Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. I think this could be a scam.

Claiming to be a company called Phones Ltd about a 40% discount code for o2 - even though that’s not my network provider. Put another person on the phone when she got flustered, male then started asking me my security question, what model of phone I had, mt network provider was etc. SCAM - avoid!! Trying to hack into my details. Do NOT give any details to this caller!!

this number has used to phone my landline number several times over the past few months. it is automatically blocked by my phone system but today i decided to phone the number from my mobile phone. the number did not engage and dropped out almost immmediately.

Automated bank security call - obviously a scam call.

A foreign lady called at 1425 6/1/22 saying she was from the BT technical department to tell me about my IP Address. I said are you really from BT, she replied with “the BT technical department’. To quiz her more I asked what do I have to do - she said nothing.

Fraud - they'll send you a fake track and trace message which takes you to an official looking website but it's not the government's one. If you fill your details they'll take money out of your account. Watch out - SCAM

Think it’s a scam as said was my bank. I phoned my bank this morning and reported scamming call. I do not trust this number

HMRC Scam

It was a recorded message saying "this is your bank. three withdrawals have been made on your card this morning...." and went on to list various sums. No name of bank, no name of card or card holder. The number used is not listed by my bank. Very suspicious.
