Seems like an Indian call centre, have had a few missed calls from several number over the passed few days which I have blocked. They left a 20 second voicemail by mistake with them talking in Indian and laughing before realising that she was on voicemail and hung up. No company name offered, wouldn’t trust regardless. Especially as it appears to me a mobile number and not a landline

Shame they didn't have any other contract options for me from my account (NEVER DID, EVER - month in month out year in year out). I had to leave to get their attention, chronic customer service and I think illegal given, from OfComms rules. Always a Blant - "HAVING PROBLEMS GETTING YOUR DETAILS / SYSTEM NOT REPSONDING ETC ETC"

SCAM Fraud 13/July/2023, UK Robot caller, spoofing a local number, (area code) pretending to be from the "Visa fraud dept" and giving a number of non-existent transactions. Didn't bother trying to "press 1 to report."
This was an Automated machine call stating it was HMRC (07278-161158). I am not aware of any issues I have with HMRC and reason to search if this is a scam.
Initially claimed to be from sky checking whether we were on the right tariff, after being challenged then said he was from UK tariffs. Cannot find any information on-line about this company. We just declined and hung up as sounded dodgy.

May have mentioned UPS which co-incidentally I've been receiving scam emails recently purporting to be from them about an outstanding delivery which I can categorically state I am NOT awaiting. Man, claiming to be Jonathan Carter from Microsoft, rang from 01142998909. During the call the line dropped and when he rang back it was from this number. He said hackers had taken over my computer in the pass few days. He tried to persuade me to download Anydesk which gives access to my computer on the pretext that it would remove the hackers. When I refused he said he would have to block my computer from the broadband and I would have to come to Microsoft in Reading to have it unblocked

Message on my answerphone to say a money transfer had been made from my card (did not say which) in excess of £1000 which was unusual. Same message, and same voice, as made to my phone from 01491576783 yesterday so looks like a scam gang doing the rounds. Watch out.
I've put this as a Missed call but i didnt actually answer phone, i just let it ring as i didnt know who this was from and didnt actually recognise number, I'm very wary these days ,as there's too many scams goin around so i typed this number into google to see what came up it lead me here where it seemed to have a negative rating , so i will block in my Phone along with many others over the yrs .
