This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.
SCAM Automated message stating a criminal investigation is lodged against you for Tax evasion. I ended the call half way through the message.

Someone saying they where from a company called UK direct. Asked if they could ask me 5 quick questions. Then proceeded to ask me more and more personal questions before hanging up once I questioned them.
Sales call most likely. Obviously a call centre caller. reading from a scriopt. Told me about package put together for solar panels in my area but couldn't tell me what area I was in, just kept repeating that I should raise any issues with call back representative. I put the phone down.

Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. Called saying i had two transactions against my visa card they believed were suspicious. One from amazon for a small amount and another for someone else for over 1k. asked me to press some buttons to agree or query these transactions, not a chance thanks.
Called for days without speaking until today pretending to be from "Merchant Review". Asking to speak to "whoever is in charge of the merchant account" when told we don't have a credit card machine they hanged up. Very fishy.

I'm an individual counsellor and this person 'Jack' texted me during my Christmas holiday. He pretended to be a client at first, and I responded in case he was a potential client in need. He then attempted to sell me his "automated systems to attract more counselling clients". I hate spammers who prey on therapists' good natures, and who disrespect our vacation boundaries. Don't fall for this.

Missed call cannot ring the number back which screams SCAM or high pressure sales call. I have been pestered recently by buy to rent mortgage type people although not from the area code (Torquay) and estate planning neither of which would be of any use to me.
