Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. Calling on personal cell number about 'IT services' and domains I have registered - through my business. Challenged them on ignoring TPS, and fact that they have obtained data illegally since all domain registration detail is now 'redacted' - caller hung up. Sounded like a VOIP line, big call centre by the level of noise in the background and most likely Indian sub-continent from accent of caller.

You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. They try to convince you that's the 'discount activation code' and ask you to give it to them, presumably to hack your account while on the phone to you. Do not give them anything! Fraud
