Phoned me claiming to be 92 and wouldn’t tell me who they were looking for and tried to tell me that I was with a network that I wasn’t with, they also transferred me to two other people who also couldn’t tell me my name!

Obvious scam, claiming to be from EE retaining department. If you google the number it comes up as a Noodle bar in London. The guy on the call couldn't stop stumbling over his words when I called him out on things and then laughed at me when I said I knew it was a scam.

My mobile phone rang and when I looked at the screen it was flashing red and the words 'SCAM CALL' also flashing along with an exclamation mark in a circle. Needless to say that the call was not answered.

Clearly reading from a script, trying to encourage you to take one of their “deals”. Won’t take “not interested” as an answer. Think it may be spoofing as the lack of introductions, strong accent and background noises suggest call centre abroad. Block and ignore

May have mentioned UPS which co-incidentally I've been receiving scam emails recently purporting to be from them about an outstanding delivery which I can categorically state I am NOT awaiting. SCAM Fraud 13/July/2023, UK Robot caller, spoofing a local number, (area code) pretending to be from the "Visa fraud dept" and giving a number of non-existent transactions. Didn't bother trying to "press 1 to report."

Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.
