Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.

Phone call from this number offering warranty on my fridge, cooker & washing machine. I was not interested in any cover & the tone of the call led me to immediately believe that this was a scam call. Terminated the call.

A real person said she was calling from BT Openreach I said I didn't believe her. She then talked to someone else in an unfamiliar language. Then someone said Hello, I said Hello, this continued for a while before I said Goodbye. Newbie scammer?

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. Immediate hang-up. From entries on other sites anyone who manages to answer gets a silent/dead line. Exactly 24 hours laters calls begin claiming to be whatever mobile provider your voicemail said you were with (fake dealer scam). Clearly this line is being used to find out who you're with for slightly more convincing fake mobile provider scam calls. SCAM

SCAM Claimed to be from Citizen's Advice concerning debt. Consultations with CAB are confidential, they don't give out people's details without permission, but I haven't spoken to them for many years anyway.

Received a message "Got your number in my phone, are you Jack?" Which creepily, I am. But coming on here and seeing others with the numbers shows it's clearly a scam.
