Tried to upgrade my phone, but took my account details and card number, address etc. I am quite worried now that they have too many details and will use them. No sign of upgrade through my usual EE account!

This number has just phoned me; there was quite a long pause but a man eventually spoke and said it was a UK claim company (didn't quite catch the actual name).

10 to 15 calls a week. 99% are automated calls. we were lucky to get hold of an actual human being. unfortunately those humans are as automated as their mechanical colleagues. they unable to comprehend even the simplest syntax like: do not call me again!!!!!!!!!!

It is payday UK. It will be to discuss any outstanding loan you have/remind you of any upcoming payments. As with other responders, the caller tried to imply that there were changes to my domestic insurance cover but no worries, they could fix it for me. Did I have a pencil and paper ready? When I pointed out that I get daily nuisance calls so put the request in writing, the line went dead. im registered with TPS but what s the point - it makes no difference!
