Repeated calls but only while abroad , itself highly suspicious. I suspect our holiday info was sold. All unanswered. No calls since returning to the UK.

Sounded Chinese but couldn't tell a word they were saying. Passed onto several others with similar language problems. Very persistent and carried on when I suggested they were scammers, didn't stop till I put the phone down

Rang me, left a message saying I was facing legal action. I was then told, on ringing back that I needed my debit/credit card as I had overpaid my taxes to HMRC. When asked how I had overpaid, they tried to hustel me into giving my card number.

Have had several calls from "Excellent Life", displaying different numbers including 02036096500. Always ask for me by name. Sometimes they give an address and ask if it s correct, but don t do anything if you give a different address. First question is always "are you working or retired?". If I give a vague answer ("I m an enumerator, what would you call that?"), they go on to the next question, always "what is your age group?". They hang up when I refuse to answer. Missed call and my VA took the call. This appears to be Opayo, who were formerly SagePay. I rang the number and they just say that one of their operatives will ring us back, pretty much when they feel like it.

I keep receiving multiple calls from this number as well as other local area code numbers on both my landline and mobile. No messages are left and when I did pick up once, they hung up. I am presuming it s a telemarketer.
