I have been contacted by a Company called UK Loan Ltd, the foriegn gentleman called Richard explained all the loan details and even gave me a reference number and the number to call them back. Have had several calls from "Excellent Life", displaying different numbers including 02036096500. Always ask for me by name. Sometimes they give an address and ask if it s correct, but don t do anything if you give a different address. First question is always "are you working or retired?". If I give a vague answer ("I m an enumerator, what would you call that?"), they go on to the next question, always "what is your age group?". They hang up when I refuse to answer. An idiot rang me from this number stating that he could get me refunds for all of any of the loans, credit cards and mortgages that I d ever had during my lifetime. They try to get you to commit insurance fraud by saying that you ve been injured in a motor accident when in fact you re perfectly ok. They go on to say that the insurance companies keep a certain amount of money set aside when a motor accident occurs. They reckon they can get you this money and it won t cost you a penny.

Despite informing Vanquis that my financial affairs are being dealt with by a third party I continue to be harassed! I have come to the point of blocking any numbers I do not know. Interest on account has risen drastically and I no longer care, they can pee off. I was more than willing to come to an agreement but they are cowboys that think they can bully you into paying despite explaining circumstances have changed.
