They have call centres which are not a part of the PPI company, they just make the cold call with their automated system, the automated dialing software offers you the option of speakign to someone if you press 5. you will speak to someone at a company who deals with the cold calling. This company is NOT the company dealing with the PPI stuff, I am guessing so that they themselves are not responsible for the cold calling part

Got a call from this number for the usual trading rubbish, so I called it back and turns out it's a personal phone and has no record of making a call. The scammers honestly just one step ahead!

Although I have bought from Amazon, I do NOT have an Amazon Prime account. 2. This number, on the EE network, cost up to 13p a minute (plus set up fee) from a landline and up to 55p from a mobile. This may be a scam call or just a money-making racket; generating income from lengthy return calls. Do not answer this call and block it!
