It's hard to believe that is still happening, and it's even harder to believe that nothing has been done to stop these types of calls in today's wealth of technology, these people should think about the harm and misery they cause but of course when you are a scammer it's the last thing you think of isn't it.
Pretending to be from Virgin Media; "Hello my name is Carol, I'm calling from Virgin Media" with thick Indian accent and noisy call centre background. Asked which part of London this Virgin Call centre is in. She replied "Canberra", maybe confused with Australia?
