They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.

Called this morning at 8.18 saying they were from customer services at ??When I queried this the caller groaned and hung up.I think it is a scam

Recording said from Amazon and reported suspicious activity on my account. Said they had put purchase on hold. In fact this is a genuine number from a Joinery business in Thanet. Blocked.

Claiming to be from Sky, suggesting my Internet has been breached. Asked that I get my mobile phone and go to Google. I refused and the man got really angry, and shouted I need to do this to fix the problem. I refused and hung up.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. I refused and challenged them; caller eventually put me onto their "supervisor" and he asked me if I understood the nature of this call from Microsoft today but I told him that I didn't believe he was and he said "OK then f**k off" and I replied "Likewise" and hung up. Caller from this number stated that hmrc were giving back tax paid on ppi claims. I was due over £6000! Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. I think this could be a scam.
