SCAM - a man called Mark called purporting to be a Bailiff. Called to say an outstanding CCJ on my company. Do not be taken in by him, this is definitely a scam

I received a text from this number saying my apple pay was temporarily deactivated, and a link to reactivate it. Upon clicking the link I was then asked for my name, address and date of birth, and then got suspicious when asked for my full card details. Quick look on google found it is a know scam. Beware.

TAXES / HMRC - Texted me this “ GOV-UK: Due to an overpayment of tax, you are eligible for a tax refund. To claim, please visit: https://tax-calculation-register.com/”. I knew it was an imposter because I instantly saw a +44 number . Be careful .

SCAM Received a text from this number supposedly from Sky. It stated they were unable to take my payment this month and my services will be stopped. It even provided a link to update my details. I haven’t had Sky since 2007 so I hope they haven’t been able to take a payment! :D Don’t click on the link, it’s not Sky; it’s a scam looking to get your bank details.

This number phoned and a recorded message stated that it was my bank asking to verify that 2 payments made today were genuine and if not to press 1 to speak to a member of the fraud team. No name of bank given so I suspect it to be a scam.

Had a call supposedly from Amazon so say my subscription could not be collected. This is a fake number

Allegedly Amazon calling, automated message about a charge for Amazon Prime, like so many similar calls before. I simply hung up.

I have hsd this message on answer phone several times over the last couple of months. It says someone has tryed to take £300 out of my amazon account and transfer £1,200 to another country and wants me to contact them. I check my account and no money has gone. They are conmen looking to get my bank detailes.

Caller pretends to be from BT alledging illegal access to your broadband. Asks you to download a website Anydesk.com. This shows you suppossedly all the users who are accessing you broadband. Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. Fraud: 09011490180 has been billed by Virgin Media as 3 outgoing calls from my Landline but my wife and I have not made these calls. The calls were apparently made on the 18th of April at 11.03, 11.18 and 11.40 with each call lasting exactly 11.06 minutes costing 35 pounds each. So far Virgin Media have refused to investigate these calls and demand payment. It is obviously some king of scam, which should be highlighted as soon as possible and safeguards put in place!
