Number rang me saying it was for an O2 upgrade and when i caught him out on being a scam he kept calling me back from numbers which my phone said was in random countries. O2 would not be persistent for 5 minutes repeatedly calling me from different numbers. Pushy, annoying and fake.

I had already blocked this number as a "cold caller" on my iPhone but these people are breaking the UK law by circumventing my block action and forcing my phone to ring. Fortunately, I ring fence ALL such numbers in one contact with a generic name "suggesting" they are all a waste of time do don t answer!

Optical Express - they called as I had made an inquiry online about laser eye surgery but they rang 10 times over the space of a few days, didn t leave a message or text/email to say who they were. 14 Oct 2021 - Caller pretended to be a friend of my daughter when she had asked for her and I told her she no longer lived here. She said her name was Sarah and claimed she had pressed the wrong number in her list of contacts. Seemed very plausible as daughter has a Friend named Sarah, but transpires they haven't been in touch for years. Reply

Started taking Direct Debit from my account, after I told them I didn t need continuing insurance on an appliance I don t own anymore. Call blocker activated as they called 2/3 times a day, wanting to know why I had cancelled the DD. Very Annoying!!

They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.
