Caller knew my surname, when I asked where he got my number he said from a data base. When I continued to question him he became angry and told me to stop wasting his time!!

Usual Indian accented person calling me from Talktalk to save my computer from a major disaster. Usual stuff. Today i asked them to hold the line while I find the details. Set the timer and put the phone on mute. I ve had them wait for as long as 10 minutes before. The more time I waste the less they harass somebody else.

NEVER give ANY information to a caller, no matter how convincing they sound.

Easy to get rid of unwanted/unknown calls. I hold a PPL (Private Pilots Licence) so I just tell em I m at 3000ft and can t answer. They don t realise most of the time I m in my car actually!! I have threatened to report them to Air Traffic Control...
