Scammer stating I needed to give them money or a warrant was issued in my name for drug trafficking and fraud offences and I am going to be arrested.
SCAM ambulance chasers that don't even know if there's been an ambulance! Get a call from them every few days, consistent script: "We're calling from the Legal Department of MAUK" (there is a website for mauk.uk but no listing in Companies House, and the directory for the building in Reading they claim to be in doesn't include any such entity). I keep reporting the calls to ICO and TPS. You'd think the imbeciles would give up - it's been going on for years.

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. This number is being used to carry out impersonation scams through WhatsApp. Serious pressure being exerted claiming to be a family member in financial trouble. Fraud carried out via a Metro Bank Account sort code 23 05 80 using various account numbers and Metro Bank don't seem to be concerned. Has been reported to own bank and Action Fraud. This number is causing untold distress and needs to be taken out of service.
This number sent me an SMS I do not recognise this number so I did not open it amp came straight here as I always do when a number is unknown to me My thanks to the only other person to leave a comment I have now deleted the SMS I deal in person with the NHS as I am fearful of hacking resulting in loss theft of my personal information I would not have initiated any contact from the NHS portal It may be autodialling not a scam per se but I will mark it as untrustworthy all the same

Apparently fraudulent call purporting to be from HMRC regarding no payment of taxes
Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition

Called our landline at 1.17 am! Really annoying waking us up and thought it might be an ill relative or similar. Probably a scammer.
Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?

SCAM called offering for my business to be featured in a publication which will highlighting legitimate local businesses and rogue traders (hopefully I fall into the former). Asked if I'd like to be featured as their "(my profession) of the year" for a fee, when I questioned it they hung up. Initially claimed to be from a crime monitoring unit, which was odd since they called from a mobile number.
Phoned our landline at 10am on 22.03.23. I didn't recognise the number (no one I knew) and so I let the answer machine take it. The caller didn't leave a message.
