Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. Bank Scam A recording of a female robotic voice with an American accent told me that 2 transactions has been made on my card that were potentially fraudulent The recording went on to tell me the transaction details and told me to press 1 to authorise them or press 2 to speak to someone
SCAM. Rang back and someone with an Asian accent answered my call identifying themselves with an English first name and a surname. I asked what is the nature of the call and they said it is about some kind of TRADING. I told the Asian sounding person to pimp out their family members rather than conning people.
Caller didn't speak but is staying on the line for a long time. Not sure how this amounts to a scam - just a waste of lots of people's time I think.
Had a call from this number saying they were the fraud department of Barclays but this is not true.

SCAM, threatened to take to court and prision if money not paid for 'tax fraud', had me go to supreme court uk website, when i mentioned the supreme court website says they are aware of hmrc scams and that these scams are 'asking for money and making threatening statements, for example claiming the UKSC has a warrant out for their arrest' as they did in this phone call the woman hung up and blocked me

Bit of digging on Linkedin etc confirm this and that is it a cover for many businesses including call centres. Tells you all you need to know.
SCAM First I received a silent call from 028 8505 1239 (to verify a working number?) Then within 5 minutes, I started getting whatsapp messages from a very attractive female profile asking when I was going to visit her using the number 07727214429. Looks like a scam to me.
