I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. Received a call from this number, answered and received an automated message saying my Amazon account had 2 large orders using my card and they didn’t think it was me. It said press 1 for yes it was me and 2 for it wasn’t. I hung up an obvious scam call as how can they know who in the household picks up the call as there might be 5 of us with cards and Amazon accounts!

Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.

It is a scam. This number was used to call me to say someone had fraudulently ordered a £750 i phone from Amazon and I should press a digit on my phone to be put through to someone who could help me. Checked my acct and nothing amiss.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I answered their call, they asked who I was!! They then went on to say it was about payments made on an Airplus Corporate Credit card, I don't have one. They then said it was connected to a phone number ending in 2331. After saying that wasn't my number they hung up and I've not been able to get them to answer since.
