Called asking for non-executive Director by name - "it s Johnny from the surveyors at Altus" were the words he used. I walked through to our Director and used the same words. Our Director said he won t take the call as he has no ongoing business with Altus and no imminent need. I returned to Johnny and advised this, to which he said "did you tell him it s a financial matter?". I responded, "No, because you didn t say it was. But he won t take the call". The "calling about your recent road traffic accident report" scam. I have not had an accident and don t need these parasites pestering me.

Lydia from UK Legal claimed she had my details from the road traffic accident database and that I had been in an RTA on 28/02/2014. She supplied her number for return calls as 0800 743 872 but called from the number stated above.

Scam- claim to be working for a company near by and came across my number ( after checking sky shield this number had been calling my phone for the last 4 days whilst I was out) . They claim to save your current BT bill ( even though I am with sky talk talk and pay for the phone ). Don?t argue with them as they get really rude. Just hang up and block them

This people try to get access to my computer pretending to be BT, a very poor way to get my password. Be aware of such scams.
