appears to be a phishing scam, its a recorded message about credit card suspicious use with a link to follow, i didnt follow the link but did check my credit cards and no such transactions ever happened.

This was an automated call at 11:18am, claiming to be from a bank card provider, about two transactions from Amazon on my bank card. I did not press 1 or 2 to authorise or get help.

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. SCAM - this number was included in a message pretending to be our Daughter asking for them to call back as an emergency.

If this was my bank they would identify themselves as such, and offer data to prove this. This is likely a scam, and best thing to do is hang up. A genuine caller would then call you back, and actually speak with you. DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS ON YOUR PHONE JUST HANG UP

My second call this morning from an 01257 number - different ones - both claiming to be a banking service who have detected suspicious activity on my account. They are both automated messages with the same female voice and both claim withdrawals from my (unspecified) account from the same places (Amazon and overseas) but quote different amounts. 01257 is my local dial code, which I suspect is meant to lend credibility to the call. It asked to preess 1 to delete or 2 to connect to an operative. I hung up
