The call is not from HMRC, it is from fraudsters who are looking to commit fraud against you. HANG UP IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT ENGAGE.

Scam call fishing for bank details.
Always press 9 to remove from caller list but keeps phoning. When I connected I asked 11 times to be removed from their database they just kept asking why I didn t want the money I m owed. Asked to speak to supervisor told he was a supervisor, this needs reporting to ofcom.

This number when called back tells you that you have dialled an incorrect number. My opinion is by experience that it’s a spam number. Usually trying to sell something or get details from you for insurance or PPI claims. I have blocked now.
