Got a call from this number at quarter past 1 in the morning!!! Asking about a car accident are you kidding me I haven't been in a accident or anything so annoying
Phoned to tell me that I would receive documents in the post in the next two days for my PPI claim. (Oh!) Then asked if I had taken out any credit cards or loans. I responded with "you phoned me and told me you are sending documents, so tell me which loan" to which I was thanked for wasting her time.
This number has called a number of times and left no message. Eventually, found it was the AA touting for me to renew my membership. Because of this calling practice they have lost my business.
Children’s home where the kids obviously have access to the phone and call up random folk and threaten and abuse them.

This number has called me fives times today starting at 10am! As the day has gone on the calls have been approx. an hour apart. No message left but they seem pretty keen to get hold of me. Any ideas anyone? I do not answer numbers I do not know.

They would not give any information out over the matter or even give me my own door number or year of birth - my check to see if it is a cold call. I gave her a mouth full hopefully ruining her day - great stress relief people :)

Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.
The caller from this number suggests I'm their fathers wife! Thanking me for being supportive. Mmm dodgy to me as I have no children of my own but a step daughter NOT step son as the caller named himself John.
Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. 14 Oct 2021 - Caller pretended to be a friend of my daughter when she had asked for her and I told her she no longer lived here. She said her name was Sarah and claimed she had pressed the wrong number in her list of contacts. Seemed very plausible as daughter has a Friend named Sarah, but transpires they haven't been in touch for years. Reply
