Absolute scam. Claimed to be from OpenReach told me they would switch the internet off for 72 hours as our IP address was public and it was a GDPR issue. When I told them to make our IP address private as they actually own the internet, they told me they couldn't. I had to run a software on my laptop to do it. Literally do not do anything they say!

This was a scam call claiming to be from a restaurant I visited recently through OpenTable, they got my card info before phoning back on a private number claiming to be from Santander.

Suspect this is a spam call. Message left on answerphone was generic in that no person was identified. Stated that two sums of money taken from my account - no mention which account. The information was false. Wanted me to make contact with them.

Called saying they were Vodafone offering a 20% discount on my bill, then was asking to transfer to supervisor who dropped the call and then called back and started asking for my details. Very sus, likely Indian scam call centre, avoid and block

Some person claiming to be from o2 offering me a 40% discount on my monthly phone bill.......due to covid 19!!!! I played along for a couple of minutes & they sent text message codes which someone could genuinely assume was from o2 as they had security warnings advising not to give the code out etc but when I said I was going to run her through some security questions & asked her the 1st line of my address they hung up. Caller had very poor English. Saying he was from Virgin Media. The caller delayed speaking, then in a very odd voice said he was calling from virgin media. Not trust worthy very unprofessional

Fraud Said from Virgin Media security saying hackers were on my router Started to tell me to download an app on my mobile so they could send me a security code when confronted and asked questions they panicked and hung up. BEWARE

This number & variants of it have called me 7 times over the last 2 days absolutely fed up if it, seems these scammers don’t give up just working out how to block all the numbers
