Unexpected inbound call at 1724 hours on 27 Jan 2023. I diverted the caller to my phone's screening assistant but the caller hung up after 3 seconds.
Spam call, claiming to be HMRC and that a letter addressed to me has been returned. States legal action will be taken against me and advises to press 1 to speak to one of their officers.

A spokesperson from BT told us, “We’ll never call a customer to tell them their router or IP address has been compromised or ask for any personal information, including bank details unexpectedly and we’ll never call from an ‘unknown’ number.

Fraud 01296630762 Called from this number automated call saying someone has tried to do an international money transfer from my account and to press and number. I've 3 calls in 1 hour from different phone numbers saying same thing.
The number called my friend and asked "how are you " on WhatsApp we didn't recognise the number so it is now blocked. We know no-one from Russia.

This is a scam, they claim they are calling from O2 my mobile provider which is not true and they ask you to go through security with them you give false info and they claim all is fine and that they are now on your account. All fake I never gave real info and my provider it is not O2. Beware!!

Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition

SCAM Caller purported to be from BT, worried that a third party was trying to change my IP address from private to public. I ended the call before I discovered whether they were trying to get payment or download software.
This pervert was sending disgusting text messages to my partner over a period of months despite the number being blocked, he used different apps to bypass. When challenged he blocked me without any response. How he got my partner’s number is still a cloudy one, but we in the Trans community do not make a habit of encouraging men to “slap us in the face with a (male chicken)” as a form of alarm clock. But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . Service Geeni, a division of Key Computer Applications Ltd. They sell business management software, https://servicegeeni.com. They also call under another number of 01942 409054. Make repeated successive calls.
Supposed to be Paypal calling for me to state purchase verification code (text msg didn't arrive). However, my UK mobile network Lebara/Vodafone shows a caller named "Circuit Self-Service Laundrette". I have no idea what is going on or whether it is safe to answer!!
