I was called by an ambassador of "Petra" a company that claims to be a programming language. I asked my husband who is an expert software engineer and he had never heard of this company. After some research he concluded the company is "cringe and blue pulled".

Claimed to be from the postcode lottery saying I had won, since I don’t do the lottery I hung up on the call suspecting to be a SCAM

SCAM recorded call: "This is your bank's security dept ....Amazon payment ....card payment .... etc etc" Did not respond. Line went dead after a short time.

Very dodgy number I don't know who it is or why they immediately cut the phone after hearing me, something isn't right, I called back and same thing

This number is a Scam, they called to me to say I had traffic accident which was not my fault but I didn't have any accident at all. When I told them it's impossible they just hung up

The billing address was: Asmee Kaia Hawthorns Nightingale Avenue West Horsley, Surrey, KT24 6NZ United Kingdom and this phone number, The above address was given on the billing address and doesn't relate to the phone number for the actual address for this phone number.

Romance Scammer. Masquerades as living in Edinburgh and working in a clothing shop. It is the person in the photo, but they are not in the UK. If you do not believe me, ask them during a video call to show the weather outside and watch em try to avoid it Wasn't stupid enough to fall for it so unsure of the end game but likely some form of sextortion scam as they were hoping to move the conversation to Telegram and such scams are common there Stay safe :)

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro.
