01482 293843 called me several times. I called back and got an automated message saying welcome to Vodafone all of our operators are busy right now please hold blah blah blah... I hung up. My broadband contract has just ended with Vodafone and I already renewed it with them on a social tariff. Maybe the call was connected to that. I saved the number to contacts so the name will come up if they call again and I'll answer it to find out. Like many I don't answer withheld numbers or numbers I don't recognise.

Called saying from o2 never asked for any of my personal details but sent me a one time pass code kept me on the line for quite some time offering me discount on my bill plus free upgrade. When call ended contacted o2 and was informed that the one time pass code is what they use to lock me out of the account and gives them the access to use my account

Called me twice stating he was from Microsoft and stated our computer was being hacked. on the second call he shouted, "Have I tried to sell you something... NO!!!!! Have I asked you for your bank account or for money... NO!!" I was very angry and gave him some nice new words to look up. There is no way he was a specialist from Microsoft!
Answered the phone, nobody talked, then the line dropped.

Automated call claiming to be from you bank - said that they had 2 suspicious transactions on my account and to press 1 to speak to their team. I checked my account whilst on the phone and nothing showing up - so this is blatantly a phishing scam under the guise of your bank... beware

Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. Call center - calling several times a day. I didn't answer, but called back and they knew who I was. Asked if I was still a tenant or in housing association and that they were something to do with housing repair service. I advised I was a homeowner, so she apologised and agreed to take my number off their list. I've no idea if they are legit or not.
