Rang my elderly mother telling her her bank account had money taken from it, luckily my mother is on high alert with this kind of calls.
BEWARE I got an automated call from this number claiming that my Amazon Prime had expired & I had to Pay to renew. I was suspicious & hung up. I tried call the number but got a message that it didn't exist.
Claimed to be from Bank Security,reporting suspicious payments from my bank account,wanted me to press a number to get more information - total scam

Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. Claimed to be from Currys/PC World. From a mobile number??? I have had no dealings with Currys, so at the least this is spam (unwanted sales) but at worst could be a scam (fraud) from someone pretending to be them.

No 02089812271 Claimed to be from BT saying they were calling about our BT broadband when pushed they asked for a MR Haslam. We do not have a BT provided broadband service. I presume it was the start of some form of scam. The caller was a female with a foreign accent so I guess this may be a spoofed london number and the call may have originated from abroad!!
Suspicious of this, texted a message about going camping and then on replying that it was a wrong number, attempted to learn details about me, blocked just in case.
This may be a scam as the caller did not identify themself and just said my credit card has been used for 2 payments, I think £800 and £2000, and to press 1 to talk about it. I ended the call immediately.
