I was called from this number (0203 239 1397) and 0203 287 4935 on 21 April 2022 with the below offer, and I asked to have it emailed to me. Supposedly from Carphone Warehouse. Beware, sounds too good to be true. - Tariff Plan & Mobile Info: Sim only Network: ALL Line Rent: £06.99 Upfront: £29.99 (REFUNDED) Contract Time: 12 Month Sim Card Type: Nano Sim Card (5G) Tariff Plan: Unlimited Calls, Unlimited Text, Unlimited Internet data - plus Apple Watch and 300 min. int. calls
Said they were from EE and had a promotional offer. Then asked what I pay for my service. Suspicious. I hung up immediately.

This number called my house phone, said her name was Alison (she had a very strong Asian accent and call centre noises could be heard) and she was calling from BT open reach about my server wasn't reaching the full fibre speed, when I questioned why this was any of BT's business (my fibre is with someone else) she paused in the script it was obvious she was reading and then carried on, I then said her why she was giving me this spiel and why was it BT's problem, she then hung up.

I think this might actually be a valid Co-op number. I say that because: 1. I tried to make some credit-card payments while abroad, but they were declined. 2. This number called my mother to check the payments. 3. When my mother confirmed with them that the payment attempts were valid, my card started working again! But I cannot 100% confirm. My mother actually received three calls over the weekend. Sadly this number is not shown on the Co-op website. So it's difficult to verify.

Definitely a scam as they asked for a fictitious name I have given the scammers before and false information. Trying to get me to change my life insurance to them so they can have a holiday in the Bahamas all on my savings I would expect.
This NUMBER called me up and when I answered the phone was put down this is the start of a Scam definitely do not ring them back Just BLOCK THE NUMBER .
