Caller rang me and clearly it is from a call centre as lots of people talking in the background about mobile phones. Caller did not speak and hung up the phone. I rang the number back which is supposedly on the Sheffield UK exchange but there was a one sentence message which said you have been called by carphonewarehouse . A few minutes later the same caller ID appeared on my phone and when I answered it it was a female calling from carphonewarehouse in SOUTH AFRICA!!

Called me, but no one there. Then after I said hello for the third time she said ‘hi this is Lucy from the legal department, how can I help you?’ – I replied – you called me! She said ‘Oh, that would be one of my colleagues – you are MY NAME right?’ Her accent was Indian with an America tone so I said I think you have the wrong number. She repeated my number and again I said you have the wrong number. To which she replied ‘what-e-ver’ and hung up – so RESULT!
