Received a text from this number, claiming to be from Evri (the new name for Hermes), saying they'd missed a delivery, and wanted £1.45 for redelivery. I googled Evri and and according to them it's a scam, to get your bank details and Mt your account.

This appeared to be from a Bank, it didnt say which alleging that there had been two suspicious transactions on my card and asking me to press a number on my phone to accept these transactions. The message was recorded.

SCAM Fraud I’m am trying to find a trace this person who has scam me out of a lot of money by selling fake iPhones and stuff he sells on the Facebook marketplace then gets your money before you check the product and leaves immediately. I’m trying get the name connected to that number and trace the phone number itself. Please send some help on putting these people behind bars and hopefully get my money back.

Apparently someone from "credit investigation" saying I have "several debts" but that they know "I'm paying them off" and attempted to get more information from me. Absolutely a massive scam caller, no company name given and just factually incorrect. They're fishing for some poor person who's in debt that will believe the nonsense they're saying. Be very careful and do not give them information, they had my full name. Scammer/Phishing.

It hung up on me when I told him to send an email because we do not accept sales calls. that speak for itself...

This us a scammer. Wife just had this message. Our daughter is with her and our son is with me. The message is “Hey Mum, I broke my phone today, please message me on this number 447706598749 urgently x im texting of a friends phone.” Scam!!!

SCAM Asked to speak to me by name and then hung up when I confirmed it was me. Possible scam or fishing for info. Number now blocked. Also had a missed call an hour earlier from 02038077025 so suspect same people.

Fraud On Caller Display, this number looked like a London exchange. On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. Others receiving calls like this might be taken in. What can be done to stop them?

SCAM Got a call claiming to be from Mastercard & Visa. Apparently I had made a payment of £600 to a foreign country. Hung up there. I don't have £600, so I don't think I'd be making such a payment. SCAM!

Called my son saying they were from HMRC wanting a payment and to press number 1, he didn't as knew this wasn't HMRC, as it's for a Dental practice in London. Obviously it's a fraudulent company using their number via the Web.

Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Two calls from this number with a recorded voice message claiming £700 has been drawn on our account to Amazon and further £2000 cash transfer, then a couple of number options to press to speak to someone. Needless to say, I hung up. Yet another time-wasting and potentially dangerous scam.
