Caller said she had been given my number as someone who have had a little car accident in the last 2 years!! Clearly phishing or insurance scam

Female, foreign accent, incompetent scammer or cold caller at best mentioned our TV and was immediately dismissed.

Asked about a car accident - haven't has one so must be purely speculative. Claimed to be 'First Source Contact' but wouldn't engage in any further enquiry.

Get enough of these on the landline. Now my company mobile. Very annoying!

I recieved a call which I missed off this number last week and got a call back today. I answered the call and all I got was 18 seconds of silence before I ended the call. If they re scammers you d think they d say something!

This no. is very similar to others starting 01772 (which is supposedly Preston, but with spoof phoning this could be from anywhere in the World) then 924, then 3 digits e.g. 045...

I have had approx 3 calls from EE and I am almost certain I will not be renewing with them when my contracts expires later in the year. Each call has had a similar style: Poor communication skills; talked at me, did not listen or answer my questions. Aggressive: I m naturally quite chilled and helpful but after each of these called I have been angry and proceed to block the number. Yes this number is AO.com and yes they do know what you ordered. However this is the Sales end of their organisation so BEWARE (Its probably even a separate company just trading under the same name) . They are calling on the pre-text of your order with AO.com but are very aggressively trying to sell you appliance breakdown cover! Their script is well rehearsed leading you to believe they re on the service side of your purchase and calling about further delivery information. Try ringing them on this numb
