Call with lots of noise in background, claimed to be from 'Phone house company' I think, hard to make out. I hung up due to not recognising this name.
I was called by these people and sold a policy to cover my Hotpoint appliances for 12 months. The person seamed to know about my Hotpoint purchases and gave the impression that hes was actually from Hotpoint. I took out the cover and cancelled an existing cover with Legal and General. When I wanted a repair doing and contacted Hotpoint they arranged the repair and then told me I had no cover in place and billed me. Melville consultants visited my company saying they could appeal and reduce our business rates. The person who visited was Peter John. He said they could put in an appeal, no charge, but if appeal accepted then they would charge to complete the appeal and send in a surveyor.
