I ve an italian number so I don t know how they can have my phone number. I live at London and I know nobody who lives at Bolton. I received many calls from this number but was always a silent call, probably it is a scam, be careful.

Pain in the arse automated PPI Telemarketing call. Usually silent. If I am on the Telephone Pref. Service WHY am I still recieving these calls? Reported to OFCOM today.

This number has just phoned me; there was quite a long pause but a man eventually spoke and said it was a UK claim company (didn't quite catch the actual name).

Recorded message that I was involved in a fraud case and hed to press '1' to be connected to the officer in the case!! As a retired Police Officer I found it amusing but my elderly F-I-Law would fall for this sort of nonsense.They need prosecuting not me at nearly 76!!!!!!

Called asking for non-executive Director by name - "it s Johnny from the surveyors at Altus" were the words he used. I walked through to our Director and used the same words. Just paid my bill over the phone.. the agent asked me at the end of the call if I would be interested in a smart meter and could i do a survey about how I had been dealt with.. I said a definite no to both.. 30 seconds later a call from this 0800 number..... annoying..... how did they get my number.. surely no means no.......
