Was an answerphone recording telling me I owed money to the Tax office. I blocked the number as I'm sure HMRC don't use mobile phones to make calls, and will find a conventional method of contacting me rather than a dodgy auto service.

Try’s to tell you there’s a CCJ against you for unpaid fees to an advertising company (community council advertising working in connection with National crime prevention) recons bailiffs will be attending at 9am. Call to my rarelyused mobile at 1621 on Weds 10 May 23 When answered Paul wanted to tell me about full fibre broadband being installed in my area Normally I dont answer calls from numbers which are not recognised as friends but was waiting for a return call from another person Offer declined and hung up I suspect that other recent calls to my mobile from 0333 numbers are from similar marketing people
someone rang my mobile from 07776 458280 and when i answered there was silence - no one spoke. I did not recognise the number as it was not in my contacts!
Number appears to belong to Le Pain Quotidien (and comes up as such) but definitely does not. Le Pain Quotidien have been warned that someone's spoofing their number.

Although the number is a London number it would appear it is redirected from a foreign country as the language was not great and any question I asked was answered with a repeated line stating the deal they were offering and not actually answering my question. Caller said he was Virgin Media Technical Department and believed I was having trouble with my internet speed. He wanted me to do a speed test but when I said that I couldn't do that he disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never phoned me in the past. As far as I'm aware, Virgin never phone customers when there's any problem so I'm rating this call as dangerous.
