This company called me to discuss my online presence so the guy said. Caller sounded very desperate and said he could have my business featured on Google page 1 and offered unlimited clicks and get me more business. What the guy didn t realise nor ask is that I have ran these adwords marketing campaigns before for various businesses I have and for the £150.00 fixed fee he said it would cost, my average click cost is £4+ and would literally get no work from this amount of spend. Recorded message that I was involved in a fraud case and hed to press '1' to be connected to the officer in the case!! As a retired Police Officer I found it amusing but my elderly F-I-Law would fall for this sort of nonsense.They need prosecuting not me at nearly 76!!!!!!

keep receiving mobile texts saying to call the number for ppi

I regularly get calls from this number. It s mostly an Indian sounding woman on the phone who either tells me that she is calling for the victim, because I should have caused an accident or she tells me that my computer was broken.

Called asking for non-executive Director by name - "it s Johnny from the surveyors at Altus" were the words he used. I walked through to our Director and used the same words. Our Director said he won t take the call as he has no ongoing business with Altus and no imminent need. I returned to Johnny and advised this, to which he said "did you tell him it s a financial matter?". I responded, "No, because you didn t say it was. But he won t take the call". Had a similar call - "I m calling about the claim for th accident you had" Advised that they have incorrect info as not had accident

No company name given but they advised they were calling about my life insurance, when informed I don t have life insurance they asked if I wanted some.

He claimed to be carphone warehouse. No reason they should be calling me. Had a very thick indian accent, sounds in background of call centre ... people speaking hindi! Prob a scam
