Automated call claiming to be from bank security department., telling me about suspicious transactions on my card. Since no bank was identified and my name was not requested, I hung up.

Rings then hangs up. Treat as potentially dangerous, no place associated with the number.

It's a scam to obtain money fraudulently. They pretent that they are chasing up old debt not paid for utilities from old companies. I have spoken to them and still not had a breakdown which they said they would send to me. They do not provide an address or an emai to contact them. You can not text them back on the number they send you. They do not write to you. When you change suppliers for e.g. electrics, gas. You can only change once your bill is upto date.

It said dear Jan, You have an appointment on 13/01/23 at Homerton Hospital reply yes 1642 to confirm attendance, rebook 1642, and text cancel 1642 if the appointment is no longer needed. missed appointments cost NHS £160. Thanks for your support. It is the second time I received this message on my mobile to confirm my appointment. I will be phoning Homerton Hospital on the 9th of January 2023 referring to this and other things.

Computerized voice claiming to be international police and asking you to press a number to get more information. Is a gotcha!

I didn't recognise the number so didn't answer but they didn't leave any message on my answerphone. As it was a number local to me I called it back but BT said the number wasn't recognised so looks like a scammer

Scammers. They say they are from Blockchain.com, but they want you to put money on a dormant account so you can reactivate it and take the whole amount from the account. These people used 56 different numbers to call me, but I keep them on a string and let them lose their time so they cannot mislead other people in that time.

Pretending to be HMRC and noticing me that there is a tax evasion case on my name. Then the operator asks for my name. It is obviously a SCAM! I did not give them any personal details and she hung up. I also didn't call back. Be careful and alert!

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. Like the previous person who reported this number, I also received a text message with the same message. Firstly, I am not expecting a parcel. Second, I too am always in. And thirdly, the message came through at 00.16 am….!! I don’t know of any post office employee who would be calling or trying to deliver a parcel at just gone midnight…! SCAM

Brechin (Scotland) cloned number allegedly from 02. A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!
