It was an automated message claiming to be from Coinbase. Claiming that I had been charged €1000 on my debit card. Then asked press one to speak to the dispute department.
This guy is a scammer. He asks to buy things you may have advertised on marketplace and ebay. Be very cautious, he requests you send or meet him.

Telemarketing Sales call - supposedly from Three Mobile but I already have a business contract with Three and this caller is randomly trying to sell me a new handset. Sounds dodgy. Got a similar call a while ago and checked with actual Three and they didn't know anything about it. Scam mobile number. After i made a flight booking through OPODO i immediately get a txt message saying my credit card was declined and i was to answer YES to stop future declined. Unfortunately i did reply YES. So this could mean they will use my number for future scam attempts. I already checked my phone for any malware (avg scan). Anything else i should do? (already checked bank account no dodgy transactions yet)

Pretending to be from Amazon and saying that I had a £900 transaction taken from my Amazon account and wanted me to follow their instructions and put a code in my phone I told him to call me back in 10 minutes as my daughter would be speak to him and she works with the police he hung up. Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. Told them this on both occasions. They said their details must not be up to date?? SPAM from a caller with a strong foreign accent, possibly Indian. I struggled to understand what was being said. They were wanting me to confirm that I was the council or housing association tenant and to discuss paying for repairs/damages. Addressed me by my first name. This was the second call of this nature I had had, albeit from a different number, of the same nature in less than 1/2 hour. I believe it was the same company who had ignored my initial request to remove my number from their list.
