The caller was very polite, so i only hope that they have removed my number now.

I had met my ex wife in college and we were a big part of each others push to sucess. we have been good all through our 15 years of marriage not until I noticed she's been distant and wanting to keep more to herself. Claimed to be HMRC, about an important letter sent … press button 1. The fourth such call I have received in the last few days, all from different numbers. Telltale: automated message, with no attempt to give my name or any identifying references. Avoid!
SCAM call. Automated message, no introduction just I have authorised a money transfer and spent £400 on Amazon which I had not. Wanted me to press 1 to ok 2 to dispute or 3 to speak to an advisor. I hung up as it's an obvious scam. Be careful as all these ways of getting your details are sometimes convincing. Not today though !!!
Phone was off but had a missed call from this number and HUGE reported on line concerns from people about it. Claimed to be Sky telling me about updates on Sky remote voice control and asked me to confirm name and address which I did as they could get it from any number of places so its no secret Told them I was not interested in updates as I dont use voice control They did not ask for any password or any other secure data and then ended the call
