Potentially dangerous scam. Got a call from them this morning. In the most Queen's English claiming to be HMRC and stating that there is a tax fraud case against me. Threatening to issue a warrant and arrest me if I don't call them back... All hallmarks of a scam, not addressing me by name and going straight into threats territory.
Claimed he was from telephone preference service and could help with nuisance calls. I never confirm any details they may have about me and neither should you. SCAMMERS

SPAM if you redial the number withholding your number it says this line is currently unavailable strange how never been searched before and then in a space of a couple of hours being searched 23 times!! Says it all

Received three calls this morning. First, claiming to be from BT calling about my internet service. Second, silence when I answer. Third, claiming to be from TalkTalk and claiming that my internet will be shut down in 24 hours and my internet has been hacked by foreigners. I requested their full name and received no answer. I ended the call.
This number text me telling me it was the hsbc I do not bank with them and yet they told me that someone had try to use it to make a payment it’s obviously a fraud
I send Promissory Notes or Acceptance for Value to discharge my energy i use. As SP are currently not accepting these forms of payment they sell the fictitious debt on. I did not answer as the phone number is only 10 digits long and therefore not a legitimate UK phone number. No answerphone was left
blank calls at 1000hrs, 1500hrs and 1800hrs in UK full number given by 1471 as 001 0845 519 4061. This has continued for at least a week.

This company have been working on recovering my ppi since 2012, on various accounts/loans/store cards. I have had no problems with them. Not a scam at all. It is a Vodaphone number and they offered me a tablet, initially for just over £3 a week which immediately dropped to £10 per month when I declined. I still said no, but caller was polite and not aggressive or persistent. If they keep calling I ll revise this rating.
