I couldn't tell hardly a word this character was saying. Sounded like a long distance call from India whilst he was wearing a big steel bucket on his head! I did pick one word which was "handset" at which I ended the call. My number is registered with the TPS but, as usual, that was a waste of time.
Said they were Mcafee support, handling issue relating to our home "network" which would mean all devices using network (he meant router) would shortly become infected and stop working. Wanted £200 to fix, as our Mcafee didn't cover "network". Said we'd call back and given this number. Subsequently checked with Currys who support some of our tech who confirmed it's a scam

This was a call from a call tariff firm wanting to increase its network it is a cold call and has obtained my number via a sale from other companies I have blocked the number and asked the company to remove me from their call lists immediately this is the second call i have had from a similar number and I asked the last called to remove my number also this did not happen the 1st Time - I will see if it happens again.

I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. I tried to find the above number, which wasn't found. If it had been my bank or building society, I would have been able to who called me. I think it's a 100% scam.
