SCAM men claim to be from "para mba" organisation but do not say from where hi have my data .I ask him simple but random question what they do but hi claim that "we cross wires" and hi add"good luck in your job search". Received a text message from this number allegedly about a delivery by EVRI - as I am expecting a delivery (from DHL) I precipitately clicked on the link which read; EVRI(UK10094786). Out of curiosity I navigated to the EVRI website and entered a combination of the above and the full set. EVRI did not recognize it any of it. I accidentally clicked the link in the text message sent which read rebook (dot) info-96 (dot) com ("to select a new slot" as they put it). My mistake! the page that open

Fraud Pretended to be from Amazon, said there was a hacker in my system and wanted to have access to it to help sort it out. Refused, got aggressive when I said if he was from Amazon he should send an email to me from the email address held by Amazon.

My second call this morning from an 01257 number - different ones - both claiming to be a banking service who have detected suspicious activity on my account. They are both automated messages with the same female voice and both claim withdrawals from my (unspecified) account from the same places (Amazon and overseas) but quote different amounts. 01257 is my local dial code, which I suspect is meant to lend credibility to the call. It asked to preess 1 to delete or 2 to connect to an operative. I hung up

My elderly father had a call this evening at 7pm from this number advising him that £95 was due for his prescription charges. He does not pay for his medications. I will telephone the company who owns the number tomorrow to make them aware that someone is using their number for illegal purposes.
